TubeOffline (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a free online video downloader at tubeoffline.xyz. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the service, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.
The short version
- You can download videos without creating an account, and we do not ask for personal details to do so.
- We do not ask for your name, email address, or payment details in order to use the downloader.
- We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell or share your personal information.
- We use Google Analytics to count visits in aggregate, and cookies to remember settings — details below.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit tubeoffline.xyz, our hosting provider and Google Analytics automatically record technical information. This typically includes your IP address, the page you visited and the page you came from, the approximate region and city derived from your IP address, your browser type and version, your device and operating system, your screen resolution, and the time and date of your request.
We use this information for two purposes only: to keep the service running reliably, and to understand in aggregate which pages are useful so we can improve them. We do not use it to identify you as an individual.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for limited, practical purposes:
- Analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish one visit from another and to understand how visitors move through the site. This is how we get anonymous traffic counts.
- Functionality. Cookies may remember a preference you have chosen, such as your last selected video format, so the site behaves consistently when you return.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Be aware that disabling cookies may cause parts of the site to behave differently than you expect.
Information you choose to give us
Our downloader requires no registration. The only time we ask for personal information is if you contact us through the contact form — for example when you report a broken link, request a site we don’t yet support, or ask a question. In that case we receive whatever you choose to send, such as your email address and the content of your message.
We use that information only to reply to you and to fix the issue you raised. We do not add you to a marketing list and we do not pass your details to anyone else.

Videos you download are processed on our servers long enough to convert and hand the file to your device. We do not build a library of what you download, we do not share your download history with anyone, and we do not use it for any purpose other than delivering the file. Third-party services
We do not embed advertising trackers, social media pixels, or marketing networks on this site. The third-party services involved in serving tubeoffline.xyz are limited to:
- Google Analytics — for anonymous, aggregate traffic measurement.
- Our web hosting provider — which stores the website files and serves pages to your browser.
- Google Fonts — which serves the font files used to display the site.
Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy. Because Google Analytics is involved, Google may use data to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites — you can opt out at Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or via Google Ads Settings.
Data retention and security
Messages you send us through the contact form are kept only for as long as needed to resolve your request. Analytics data is retained in line with Google Analytics’ own default settings and then deleted.
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to any information we hold is limited to those who need it in order to respond to you. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to our processing of it. Since we do not operate accounts, there is usually no account data to delete — but if you have contacted us and would like that correspondence removed, or you have a question about your rights, get in touch and we will handle your request.
Children
TubeOffline is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the service changes or the law does. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
